Gonzalo Higuain set for Chelsea? Juventus striker fuels speculation by admitting: 'I would love to play in the Premier League'
Could Gonzalo Higuain be playing in Chelsea blue next season?
Chelsea are reportedly on red alert after striker target Gonzalo Higuain admitted he ‘would love to play in the Premier League’.
The Argentina international has fuelled speculation he could be set to leave Juventus this summer.
Higuain is reportedly one of the to- class frontmen on Chelsea’s radar as they look to solve their struggles upfront.
Alvaro Morata has failed to find his best form since arriving at the Blues last summer, scoring 15 goals in 48 appearances, and reports have linked him with a return to Juve – where he enjoyed a two year spell between 2014 and 2016.
And, after these latest comments on international duty ahead of the World Cup, it is now claimed 30-year-old Higuain could move the other way and seal a move to Stamford Bridge.
He told ESPN in Argentina: “I have a contract with Juventus and no one has communicated anything different.
“I’m very calm, my soul stays in Turin for now.
“But I would love to play in the Premier League, it fascinates me a lot.”
