Man Utd transfer news: £240m Anthony Martial SHOCK swap offer planned for Neymar - report

MANCHESTER UNITED are planning a mega swap deal offer to hijack Real Madrid for Neymar this summer.

Reports in Spain claim the Red Devils are ready to bring the Brazilian to Old Trafford.

United are looking to overhaul their side in order to close the gap on rivals Manchester City in the Premier League.

And Spanish outlet Don Balon, known for their outlandish transfer claims, say Jose Mourinho is ready to offer Paris St-Germain a staggering proposal.

The reports state United will offer Anthony Martial as well as £240m for Neymar.
The France star is expected to leave Old Trafford this summer after growing unhappy with the lack of first-team opportunities he has had under Mourinho.

And new PSG boss Thomas Tuchel would approve a move for Martial as he is an admirer of the 22-year-old.

Neymar was in superb form for PSG last season, netting 28 times before injury curtailed his campaign.

And the 26-year-old scored yesterday for Brazil in the 2-0 win over Costa Rica at the World Cup.

Manchester United boss Mourinho is said to believe Neymar is a world class player that his side need if they want to challenge on all fronts.

Real Madrid are also interested in the ex-Barcelona man though but the Red Devils look to have stolen a match on Los Blancos.

Florentino Perez is said to be willing to offer £281m for Neymar this summer.

United have been busy in the transfer window already, adding Brazilian midfielder Fred to their ranks.

Mourinho has also signed young right-back Diogo Dalot from Porto.
