“Why i believe in Bernd Leno” – Unai Emery sends message to Arsenal fans

Arsenal new boy boss Unai Emery is on a spending spree and he has won the heart of majority of the Gunners fan base with the calibre of player’s he has signed.

While there is so much expectation on new boy Bernd Leno, Unai Emery has revealed why he opted to sign the German netminder, according to report.

GFN revealed on Tuesday that a deal for the 26-year-old was close and shortly after that, he was unveiled as the second summer signing of the Premier league giants.

Arsenal reached a €22m (£19.2m/$25m) agreement with Bundesliga side Bayern Leverkusen for the signature of the player and he reportedly put pen to paper on a five-year deal.

Petr Cech joined Arsenal in 2015 and he has been the last line of defense for the club ever since. Alas, he has fallen down the selection pecking order and the signing of Leno may have signaled the end of his spell for us.

Meanwhile, Emery shortly after Leno’s deal was confirmed and he revealed why he signed the star.

“Bernd is a goalkeeper of high quality and experience. He has been a top performer and regular number one goalkeeper with Leverkusen in the Bundesliga for the past seven years.
