Official: Man United announce one more deal

Manchester United will announce the signing of Fred on Thursday, according to Sky Sports.Fred was on the radar of Man United before the opening of the transfer window and there were rife reports before the start of the world cup that United had reached agreement with Shahktar Donetsk for the services of the player.

While it was widely accepted that the deal was done, the confirmation was held up and it made majority of the Red Devils fan base uncomfortable.

However, the Club has officially announced on their website that the deal will be announced tomorrow.

“Manchester United is delighted to announce it has reached agreement with Shakhtar Donetsk for the transfer of Frederico Rodrigues de Paula Santos (Fred).

“A further announcement will be made in due course.” per club website.

There were claims before this report that Fred had not agreed personal terms with United and he also had work permit issue. Apparently, all this has been sorted out and he will be lacing his boots for United next term, Skysport also confirmed.
