Zara Tindall gives birth to baby girl weighing 9lbs and 3oz

Husband Mike Tindall, was at the birth the couple's second child who is the seventh great-grandchild for the Queen

Zara Tindall has given birth to a baby girl, the royal family have announced.

The baby, who weighs 9lbs and 3oz, is yet to be named. She is the heaviest royal baby in more than 100 years.

The previous record holder was Prince Louis, born on April 23 this year weighing 8lbs and 6oz.
Zara's husband, retired rugby player Mike Tindall, was at the birth at the at Stroud Maternity Unit in Gloucestershire on Monday.

She is the couple's second child together.

Zara gave birth to the couple's first daughter, Mia, in January 2014.
The Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh, The Princess Royal, Captain Mark Phillips and Mike’s parents, Mr Philip and Mrs Linda Tindall, have been informed and are delighted with the news, the royal family said in a statement.
