Man United on alert as €225,000-a-week striker to leave UCL giants
Premier League giants Manchester United and Chelsea have been offered
an opportunity to sign Robert Lewandowski from Bundesliga club Bayern
Munich, according to reports.
The Polish striker seems destined to depart from Die Roten this summer and his representative has apparently called Manchester United, Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain to offer them all the chance to land his client.
Although, it is reported that the 29-year-old star’s preferred destination is La Liga giants Real Madrid, but they’ve currently put their transfer business on hold until the club hire a new coach.
It looks unlikely that the Red Devils would be interested in the
Polish forward as they have plenty of attackers already at the club.
But, the Blues are apparently in the market for a striker as the club’s hierarchy are considering selling Alvaro Morata, whose first season at Stamford Bridge was slightly underwhelming.
No deal is probably to be done for a while as Robert represents his country at the World Cup, and he’s likely to wait until he sees who Los Blancos hire to replace Zinedine Zidane before making a final decision about his next club.
