Manchester United FC transfer news: Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo not allowed to leave for less than £175m - reports

Ronaldo is expected to be one of the stars of the World Cup in Russia

Real Madrid have told Manchester United and all other interested clubs that Cristiano Ronaldo will not leave for less than £175 million.

The Portugal international hinted after the Champions League final in May that he could be offer this summer.

The 33-year-old has long been linked with a return to Manchester United, while he could secure a lucrative move to China if he wishes.

But, according to Mundo Deportivo, Real Madrid will not sell Ronaldo this summer for anything less than £175 million.

The European champions ideally want to hang onto the forward, who still has three years to run on his current contract.

Ronaldo has previously been linked with Paris Saint-Germain in the past, but their interest has cooled since they signed Neymar last summer.

Ronaldo spent six years at Old Trafford between 2003 and 2009 after being signed by Sir Alex Ferguson to replace David Beckham.

In 196 appearances for the Red Devils, he scored 84 goals and won three Premier League trophies and the 2008 Champions League trophy while at Old Trafford.
