N’golo Kante to PSG: Chelsea chiefs make transfer decision
Chelsea have decided against selling their midfielder N’golo Kante to
Ligue 1 Champions Paris Saint Germain, according to report.
There were report in the early hours of Monday that Paris Saint Germain were willing to break the bank in order to secure the services of the marksman but they may have to look elsewhere if they want to bolster their midfield.
It is claimed that the agent of Kante Karim Douis met with one of the top brass members of PSG over a potential transfer for the midfielder. However, French media outlet Le 10 Sport has claimed that the Blues have tagged Kante as an nontransferable player.
Kante joined Chelsea from Leicester City in the summer of 2016 and he is tied to a contract with them until 2021, putting Chelsea under no pressure to sell him.
Le 10 Sport,
reveals that Paris Saint Germain may now look for alternatives even
though they have top-notch central midfielders in their squad.
Chelsea’s Danny Drinkwater has been heavily linked with a move away from the West London club following his strings of injury and poor performances. The Blues would not want to loose two of their defensive midfielders.
Kante won the PFA player of the year award in his first season with Chelsea and also helped the club clinched the FA Cup title in the immediate past season.
