Arsenal offer Sergej Milinkovic-Savic lucrative wages but transfer fee an issue

Arsenal have expressed an interest in signing Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic and have offered the player lucrative wages, however, his 130m euro transfer fee is proving to be an issue, Football journalist Giulio Cardone has told Radio Sei.
The Gunners also face tough competition to sign the midfielder with Paris Saint-Germain, Real Madrid and Manchester United all showing a firm interest.
Whilst Arsenal are understood to have made the Serbian an offer, United and PSG are the two clubs showing the strongest interest and the clubs most likely, if anyone, to pay his extortionate transfer fee.

Milinkovic-Savic interest

Milinkovic-Savic has become one of Europe’s hottest properties following his stellar season in Serie A and is gearing up for this summer’s World Cup with Serbia.
The 23-year-old made 48 appearances for Lazio this season achieving 14 goals and nine assists from midfield.
Now according to Cardone, an Italian journalist, Arsenal, Real Madrid, PSG and Man United are the clubs interested:

“Currently the teams that are really on the player are Manchester United and PSG.
“Then there are two others who have shown interest: Arsenal and Real Madrid who have offered more to the player, but do not approach the figures offered by the others to Lazio.”
