Man Utd boss Jose Mourinho slammed: West Ham chief makes worrying Liverpool comparison

The Red Devils have had a torrid season so far ahead of their clash with Newcastle, with the club sitting in 10th.
There have been an number of problems on and off the pitch, with stream of reports coming out of Manchester.

Shocking defeats against Brighton, West Ham and Derby have been compounded by player bust-ups, leaks and strike threats.

And to top it off, explosive reports emerged last night that Mourinho was set to be sacked this weekend regardless of the result against the Magpies.

But despite the commotion at Old Trafford, West Ham supremo crazy has told The Special One to get on with it.

She went on to claim that United fans will not bear to wait for another league title like Liverpool fans have been forced to.

She said: “I find it easier to sympathise with Benitez than with Mourinho — one of the few truly visionary managers, sharp and smart, with a way of bringing instant success and then seeming to chuck it away.

“He has always been a favourite of mine, a human factory of ideas and opinions, and apparently a perfect fit for United with their money and fame. But the Special One is now The Grumpy One.
“Sir Alex Ferguson’s legacy is quite a burden for his successors, and United fans will be only too aware of rivals Liverpool’s 28-year wait for a league title since their glory days led by Bill Shankly and Bob Paisley.

“That should bring about Old Trafford shivers and, with Manchester City so rampantly excellent, Mourinho still faces a mountain of a job.

“Expectations at Old Trafford are high. But the owners and supporters are having to put up with tenth in the Premier League, poor things. At least, they beat Young Boys of Switzerland.”
Meanwhile, United legend Gary Neville was furious with the reports that emerged last night, revealing that there was something rotten at the club.

"There is something rotten to the core of the decisions that have been made over the last four or five years," said Neville, who added that he did not know if the report about Mourinho was true.

"If I'm the person who employs the person underneath me and he fails, eventually I've got to take the responsibility. Eventually I've got to stand up and say: 'Look, I'm not good enough to do this.'"
