Tiemoue Bakayoko expected too leave Chelsea in January

Chelsea flop Tiemoue Bakayoko could be forced into a humiliating early return to Stamford Bridge after AC Milan threatened to cancel his loan deal, the Metro report

Gennaro Gatusso has torn into Bakayoko – blasting: ‘I would rather work with other players’
The French midfielder joined the Serie A giants on a season-long loan deal in the summer, but that could now be cut short in January.

The former Monaco man – who cost Chelsea £40m when he arrived in the summer of 2017 – will be given six games to prove his worth to Milan according to Corriere dello Sport, having only made four substitute appearances thus far.

Bakayoko has made just four Serie A appearances for the for the Italian giants this season – all as a substitute.

His only starts have come in the Europa League and he has failed to impress in any of them.
“Bakayoko has to learn how to get the ball,” Gatusso said.

“We must work correctly. It will not be easy.

“One week is not enough to remove the defects of a player. I would have preferred to be managing older, more experienced club players.”

Some reports say Milan will cut the deal short and send him back to Stamford Bridge in January.

Despite playing 29 times in the Premier League last season and scoring two goals, Bakayoko made a number of individual errors and looked off the pace at times.
