Chelsea’s best players in the current squad are undisputed at the moment based on performances in the last one year and when the Ballon d’Or nominees were unveiled on Monday, it was no surprise to see them on the list of 30.
Eden Hazard and N’Golo Kante have joined a list of rich talent in football as the Ballon d’Or final 30-man list was revealed yesterday by France Football.
Following a brilliant World Cup by France where Kante shone to propel the Les Bleus to victory in Russia during the summer, the French midfielder earned his place among the elite 30.
His presence here was never in doubt. Alongside him from Chelsea is Hazard who has proven one of the best players in the world after an electric end to last season, a jaw-dropping performance at the World Cup that earned him the award as second best player of the tournament and a strong start to this season.
Other Premier League players on the list include Kevin De Bruyne, Mohamed Salah, Sergio Aguero, Sadio Mane, Harry Kane, and others.
Five-time winner Lionel Messi gets the nod to be on the list along with decade-long rival Cristiano Ronaldo.
