European giants trio failed in their efforts to secure signature of Arsenal ace

Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur and La Liga giants Barcelona all failed in moves to land exciting prodigy, Emile Smith Rowe, as a youngster, according to reports.
According to a British daily broadsheet newspaper The Telegraph, Chelsea, Barcelona and Tottenham Hotspur all made approaches to land the player as a 15-year-old.

Chelsea had reportedly spotted the sensation as a youngster but he was firm in his decision to stay at Arsenal.
Smith Rowe was interested to break through at Arsenal and make it all the way to the senior-team, something he has done this season at the age of 18.
After catching the eye throughout pre-season, Emery has been keen to give Emile as many minutes as possible.

The talented midfielder drew comparisons to a young Jack Wilshere with a brilliantly-taken goal versus Atletico Madrid over the summer.
He was handed his senior-team debut in the Carabao Cup earlier this campaign and has also been involved in the Europa League.


Spanish manager has never hidden his intention to bring youngsters through at the club and Emile Smith Rowe could be the first of many.
