Following on from last week’s 1-1 draw with title rivals Liverpool, Maurizio Sarri’s men go to St Mary’s Stadium to take on Southampton tomorrow.
Saints have only won one of their seven league games so far, and Chelsea will be expecting to pick up three more points - which would help them make up ground on at least one of Liverpool and Manchester City, who play each other.
The likes of Jorginho, Kepa Arrizabalaga, N’Golo Kante, Ross Barkley, Pedro and Cesc Fabregas were all pictured in yesterday’s session at Cobham - despite many of those stars having played the night before.
Fabregas is one player who has only featured in Europe, the League Cup and the Community Shield so far.
But the Spanish veteran is loving life under Sarri, and said yesterday: "I feel sensations under Sarri that I never thought I would feel again.
”I wish he came a bit earlier to be honest. It's a little bit late now in my career. Definitely I'm very happy with him.
"The way he sees football is something that maybe in the future if I become a coach I think I'll do something very similar. It's what I like and how I see football.
"I'm really looking forward to working for a long time with him."
