Brazilian striker commits future to Liverpool
Robert Firminho has committed his future to Liverpool, and revealed that he cannot imagine himself playing for other clubs at this stage.
The Brazilian have been heavily linked with a move to Barcelona this summer, but has claimed that his long-term future is with Liverpool.After his transfer news to Barcelona emerged, the Brazilian said he has committed his future to Liverpool.
His unwillingness to leave Liverpool has however forced Barcelona to look elsewhere before the summer transfer window closes at the end of August.
Firminho, who scored 27 goals for Liverpool last season in all competition, has also warned Pep Guardiola and Manchester city that the Meyerside Reds are ready to take over thier reigning champions position this season for the EPL.
The Brazilian also told The Mirror: Everybody don’t know what it takes to be a Liverpool player, not until you experience it personally, you won’t understand it.
In my whole football career, I never thought that i would get committed to a club like this, the Brazilian added.
It’s our responsibility to give the fans what they deserve, and we will try to deliver the premier league title this season.
