Man United £80,000-a-week star could leave Red Devils on loan

The Turkish giants Fenerbahce are submitting a move for Manchester United central defender Marcos Rojo, who is reportedly keen to depart from Old Trafford on a season-long loan deal, according to a report on Sport Witness.

Marcos has fallen down the pecking order at Manchester United and knows that he will be given limited game time under Jose Mourinho this campaign, especially if Victor Lindelof and Eric Bailly can keep themselves fit and healthy.

The Argentine star has become the fifth choice centre-half, behind The Turkish outfit is currently in a defensive crisis and is desperate to land an experienced defender for their team before their transfer window slams shut at the end of August. Chris Smalling and Phil Jones and he is eager to gain game time on a weekly basis, which is something that the Super Lig side can give him.


However, after Manchester United failed to recruit any new central defenders over the summer, Portuguese manager Jose Mourinho may be hesitant in letting Marcos leave the club.

Fenerbahce are expected to contact Manchester United soon about star’s availability and they are hoping that the South American, who can also operate in left-back, is allowed to depart on loan.
