AC Milan offer Ivan Gazidis €4m-a-year contract to leave Arsenal for San Siro

AC Milan have offered Ivan Gazidis a contract as they look to tempt Arsenal’s chief executive to the San Siro.

The Rossoneri have been attempting to hire Gazidis, 53, as their CEO throughout the summer, but they have so far been met with resistance from the Gunners, who do not want to lose their man.

Elliott Management bought out Milan earlier this year with the view of restoring the club to the pinnacle of Italian and European football, and the company have been making moves behind the scenes to start on this path.

Leonardo and Paolo Maldini, both former Milan players, have been hired as sporting director and technical director respectively, and Elliot Management have made Gazidis their number one target for the position of CEO.
