Liverpool midfielder
James Milner has admitted he’d ‘never say never’ if offered the chance
to join Celtic or Rangers some time in the future.
He’s made 135 appearances for the Reds since joining on a free transfer from Manchester City in the summer of 2015, helping the Anfield outfit become genuine title contenders and reach last season’s Champions League final.
Milner has proven he remains perfectly suited to football at an elite level, and his brilliant fitness and work rate make it likely he will be able to keep playing until well into his late 30s.
Whether that will be with Liverpool remains to be seen, though Milner has previously admitted he would ‘love’ to play for Leeds again, having started his career at Elland Road.
