The striker had been thought to be on his way to Sevilla however latest reports claims that Batshuayi has rejected the offer of Sevilla in favour of Valencia. It is believed that the lure of Champions League football has swayed the decision of the player.
Batshuayi has proven his pedigree in front of goal despite struggling at Chelsea, last season he had a successful stint on loan at Dortmund. Valencia had earlier been linked to a permanent move for fellow country man Divock Origi. Origi is currently surplus to requirements at Liverpool and is looking towards a move to Valencia.
Batshuayi could still get his chance at Stamford Bridge under Maurizio Sarri and is widely considered the best finisher among the Chelsea strike force but offers little in hold up play.
Chelsea would also be short of options at the front if he makes a move to Spain leaving just Giroud and Morata as the senior forwards at the club.
