Domagoj Vida to Arsenal decided, player instruct Besiktas Chief negotiator

Arsenal quest to bolster their defense line before the close of the window has hit the rocks after transfer prime target DOMAGOJ VIDA decides against sealing a move with the Premier league side, this is according to reports.

following his exploits at the World Cup with Croatia, Vida became the transfer toast for several Premier league clubs including Arsenal and Liverpool.

The Gunners sold Calum Chambers on loan and the long-term absence of Laurent Koscielny who sustained an injury, means Unai Emery side is threadbare at the back and they are now scampering to sign a centre-back.

And while the Evening Standard reported that the Gunners will have to part with £26.9m to sign the defender, Turkish outlet Aksam have claimed that the Gunners have not approached Besiktas for the player and he has ruled out a move this summer.

The player reportedly loves Instabul and he has informed the Chief negotiator of his club Umut Guner to knock back offers for him from any of his suitors.


Arsenal have only signed Sokratis Papastathopoulous this summer as their only centre-back signing and this has placed the London Club at a risk of a defensive dilema.
