Red Devils given short shrift when they enquired about the possibility of landing the French wonderkid
Manchester United had an approach for Paris Saint-Germain wonderkid Kylian Mbappe rejected, according to the Daily Mirror.
The Red Devils had a torrid transfer window with manager Jose Mourinho failing to acquire many of his top targets Mbappe became the second teenager to score in a World Cup final Brazil midfielder Fred was signed, and debuted against Leicester City, while youngster Diogo Dalot, and Lee Grant also moved to Old Trafford.

Mourinho had also been interested in signing a left-back and a right
winger should the appropriate signing materialise but they ended the
summer transfer window with just the three deals coming in.
The Daily Mirror, though, report Manchester United enquired after the
19-year-old World Cup winner, just one year on from his £160million
move to the French capital from Monaco.
It’s believed PSG immediately knocked back the interest and made it
clear Mbappe, following his star turn at World Cup 2018, would be going
nowhere.
He’s 19 years old and already one of the finest strikers in the world.
