Man United given massive boost in their pursuit of 24-year-old forward

Bayern Munich coach Niko Kovac has said that the club won’t make a swoop for Manchester United target Croatian star Ante Rebic, according to journalist Alfredo Pedulla who quote Bild report.
Rebic was one of the stars of this summer’s World Cup in Russia, helping his country reach the final for the first time in their history.

The attacker has attracted a lot of interest on the back of his outstanding international performances, with both Manchester United and Bayern Munich being heavily connected with the Eintracht Frankfurt player.
However, Bayern Munich coach Kovac has now ruled out a move for Ante Rebic.

“Rebic has a strong personality and is a great player, who has grown a lot in the last two years in Frankfurt and especially during the World Cup.

“But if you look at our team, it is clear that there is a lot of people for that role, all players of excellent quality.”

“Therefore committing ourselves to bringing Rebic to Bayern would make no sense to us, at least for now. Then in the future we’ll see.” – said Niko Kovac.
