Frenchman was linked with a move to Barcelona during the summer transfer window. Reportedly United turned down a bid of £45 million plus Yerry Mina and Andre Gomes, from the Catalan Giants. Pogba was also interested in a return to his former club Juventus and could push for move back to Italy in January.

The midfielder who featured in France’s 0-0 draw against Germany in the UEFA Nations League opener two days back, refused to rule out a move away from the Premier League. He told Sky Sport Germany,
“My future is currently in Manchester.
“I still have a contract, I am playing there at the moment, but who knows what will happen in the next few months”
– Paul Pogba
“We have a pure coach-player relationship, that’s right,
“One thing I can assure you, I will always give 100 per cent, no matter which coach, I always give everything for United—I can not say more.”
– Paul Pogba on Mourinho
Pogba has failed to perform consistently since his move back to Old Trafford and often Mourinho’s style of football has been deemed the reason. However the United manager solely shouldn’t get the blame, often Pogba’s attitude has been questioned by various pundits and the United Fans. However, his loyalty to the club is under scrutiny with his recent comments on his future at the club.
Pogba has drifted through far too many games since his £89m transfer. Whether he sees his future in Manchester, Barcelona or Turin, he really needs to raise his game, writes @OliverKayTimes #MUFC https://t.co/rJzuuOyytd— Times Sport (@TimesSport) September 8, 2018
It’s just that, for the last two years for club and country, Pogba has looked little more than just another replaceable player. He wasn’t bought for a world-record fee by United to be just another central midfielder. He was bought to be irreplaceable in the role he performed, which he has been far from achieving. It’s not impossible to question why he is coming out with such comments, why he is so often agitating, why can’t he just put his head on the field and try and improve himself and the team in the process.
Frenchman’s refusal to admit his loyalty to Manchester United is yet
another indicator that all is not well at Old Trafford. He still remains
a key figure in the United dressing room and a massive commercial asset
at the same time, so if he were to leave, he would command a sizable
transfer fee.
