Arsenal 18-year-old prodigy could break into first-team after loan spell

Arsenal coach Unai Emery is reportedly hoping he will be able to include young winger Reiss Nelson in his first-team squad next campaign.
As reported by the Daily Mail, Unai hints that Nelson has a big future at the Gunners, despite spending this season on loan at the German club Hoffenheim.
“Players like Emile Smith Rowe, like Joe Willock, like Eddie Nketiah and also Reiss Nelson are interesting to me. But we decided it’s better for Reiss to go on and take this responsibility and get experience of games with a good level in Germany. I think that’s good.”

Reiss is very highly thought of at Gunners, but this summer he took the increasingly popular step of spending time on loan in the German top flight.
With English young players struggling to get regular senior-team minutes in the Premier League, they have opted to move abroad, with sides willing to take a chance on them.

Unai has never hidden his intention to give youngsters an opportunity at Arsenal.

Smith Rowe impressed during pre-campaign. Ainsley Maitland-Niles also featured for Arsenal this season before injuries left him on the sidelines.
