Man United Paul Pogba Vows To Stick With Bizarre Penalty Technique

Paul Pogba Vows To Stick With Bizarre Penalty Technique

Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has vowed to continue with his bizarre penalty technique despite facing severe criticisms.
The former Juventus star also revealed that he has the support of his manager Jose Mourinho as long as he doesn’t waste the team’s opportunities from the penalty spot.
Paul Pogba was in fine form during the summer as he was an integral part of the France squad that won a second World Cup title at the 2018 edition of the tournament by beating Croatia 4-2 in the final.

He was on target in the aforementioned final and many Manchester United fans expected him to transmit that France form into the new season.

His performances in the new Premier League season have not met the expectations of those fans.
He has hugged the headlines mainly due to his bizarre penalty technique rather than his form for the Red Devils.
Pogba successfully dispatched penalties in the first two league games of the season against Leicester City and Brighton and Hove Albion before he had his penalty saved by English shot stopper Joe Hart during his side’s 2-0 win over Burnley in the fourth league match.

He recovered from the penalty miss against the Clarets and stepped up to successfully convert a 44th minute penalty against Young Boys of Switzerland in their Champions League clash on Tuesday night.
Paul Pogba had earlier given Manchester United the lead and later provided the third goal for compatriot Anthony Martial to give the Red Devils a comprehensive 3-0 victory in their Group H opener.

While speaking afterwards, Pogba revealed that he has promised Mourinho that he won’t miss his penalties again but stated categorically that he will adopt the same technique.

He took 26 steps before scoring his penalty against Young Boys.
