Arsenal In Six Team Battle For £45m Rated French Midfield General

Arsenal are one of six teams interested in signing Lyon midfielder Tanguy Ndombele, according to reports in France.
The French club’s president Jean Michel Aulas confirmed in the summer that he had turned down bids from English clubs, and it is believed that either Chelsea or Liverpool placed a €50m (£45m) offer on the table, only to be turned down by the player.
As well as the Gunners, it seems that Ndombele is also being targeted by Tottenham, Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain.

The Frenchman spent last season on loan at Lyon from Amiens before making the move permanent in July. He has firmly established himself as a first-team player with the Ligue One side, having made 54 appearances since his arrival at the club.

The 21-year-old impressed during Lyon’s surprise 2-1 win over Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium last week and followed that up with two assists in the 4-2 victory against Marseille in the league on Sunday.
