Jordan Henderson sends message to Mo Salah after Liverpool FC win

Jordan Henderson expressed his delight at seeing Mohamed Salah get on the score-sheet for Liverpool FC in their 3-0 win over Southampton on Saturday.

The Egypt international was one of the Premier League’s top performing players last season as he netted a staggering 44 goals in all competitions for Liverpool FC following his move from AS Roma last summer.
Salah was voted as the PFA player of the year and he played a crucial role in helping Liverpool FC to reach the Champions League final and finish fourth in the Premier League table.
The 26-year-old netted Liverpool FC’s third goal in their home victory over Southampton on Saturday as he helped the Reds to maintain their 100 per cent start to the new campaign.

Salah has now scored three goals and made one assist in the Premier League so far this season.
And Henderson was delighted to see the Egypt international be among the goals on Saturday afternoon at Anfield.

Speaking to Liverpool FC’s website after the game, Henderson said of Salah: “I’m delighted for him, of course. He wants to score goals so it’s important for him.
“But the most important thing is the win – I’m sure he’d tell you the same. It’s good for him, good for the team and we move on.”

Liverpool FC will now turn their attentions to their home League Cup clash against Chelsea FC in the third round on Wednesday night.

The Reds finished in fourth place and without a trophy under Jurgen Klopp last term.
