UCL giants confident contract agreement will be reached with Man United target

Inter Milan are calm regarding the talks between the club and the agents of Manchester United connected defender Milan Skriniar over a fresh contract.
Milan grabbed the headlines with some of his defensive displays last season, and several European heavyweights took note and were keen on snaring him away from the Nerazzurri.
It has been stated that Inter Milan have rejected two huge money Premier League offers from Manchester United and Manchester City for Skriniar over the last nine months.

Inter Milan believe that the star’s value is no less than the €85 million fee Liverpool paid to sign Virgil van Dijk from Southampton in January and the club remain interested in tying him down to a new deal.
Negotiations between the two sides have been on hold since the end of the previous season, but according to Italian daily Tuttosport, Inter Milan are not losing sleep over the negotiations at the moment.

Skriniar still has a contract until June of 2022, and there is no exit clause in his current deal, making life a little easier for the club’s negotiators.

The star’s representatives have demanded a contract worth €3.5 million, a figure closer to the €4 million Manchester United were prepared to pay to the Slovak star in the summer.
