Man United on alert as Lazio key man set to sign new contract next week

The Italian giants SS Lazio sporting director Igli Tare said Serbia international midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic and Italian striker Ciro Immobile will both sign fresh contracts with the club next week.
Igli, speaking to Sky Sport Italia on Thursday night, when Biancocelesti got their Europa League season off to a winning start by beating Apollon Limassol 2-1, said the reported deals will be completed soon.
“It’s just a matter of days now,” Igli said. “All will be signed at the start of next week. The agreements have been in place for some time now.

Milinkovic-Savic was connected with a transfer away in the summer amid reports a €100 million asking price that put off Manchester United and league rivals Tottenham Hotspur.
He is already contracted to SS Lazio until June 2022 but is expected to add a year to his contract on improved terms.

The 28-year-old Immobile was on target on Thursday night with his ninth goal in his last 10 Europa League matches.

He netted 29 goals in 33 Serie A games the previous season after netting 23 times in 2015-16. His current contract runs until June of 2021.
