Right back is a position that Chelsea aren’t too deep in. Davide Zappacosta sounds like he might want to leave if he doesn’t play much this season, and not many would be sad to see him go. Next season could be a perfect opportunity for one of these two to come in and back up Cesar Azpilicueta.
A lot will depend on how they get on in senior football this season then. Ola’s had a bright start in Turin, coming on as a sub a couple of times and then starting some games.
Dujon has picked up a niggling injury that has annoyingly kept him from picking up more time on the pitch, although it looks like he’ll be back soon.
They are playing in very different environments this season, but they can both put themselves in a top position for next season.
