£55 million star wants dream Manchester United move

£55 million star wants dream Manchester United move
Manchester United may have cooled their interest in Tottenham’s defender Danny Rose. However, it looks as though the deal could yet happen, as per report from the Telegraph.

The English tabloid are suggesting that Rose still wants the “dream move” to Manchester United despite claims that the Red Devils have pulled the plug on the deal.

United were linked with a big money move for the left-back, with a deal worth £50 million said to be readied by the Manchester giants. However, Spurs were adamant over the transfer fee, as their valuation for their star defender was irrationally higher than what was on offer, or £40 million plus Luke Shaw.

However, with the signing of Diogo Dalot this summer, United seem disinterested in any deal for Rose, as the Portuguese import can also play in the left back position, despite predominantly a right-back.

Mourinho has told the United hierarchy that he is no longer interested in the England defender though, but Telegraph are now reporting that Rose, who is currently in Russia for the 2018 World Cup, may still push for transfer this summer.

The England international criticized his current employers last summer, where he stated that he would like his wage package to be on par with the likes of Harry Kane. Rose takes home £65,000-a-week whilst his counterpart at United, Luke Shaw, commands something in the region of £130,000 a week.

Now you know why he still wants to leave.
