Red Devils legend Ryan Giggs welcomes possible Man United signing of £100 million star Bale

Wales boss and Manchester United legend Ryan Giggs has welcomed the idea Gareth Bale could a summer transfer move to Old Trafford.

Bale, who helped Real Madrid win three Champions Leagues in a row, has been tipped to leave the club in the next few months after announcing to the World he will sit down with his agents and consider his future with the club.

It comes after a season of frustration for the Welshman, having been in and out of the side with injuries and poor performances.

However, despite his limited game time, he still manged to end the year with over 20 goals and also another Champions League title.

And Giggs believes Bale is perfect for his old club.

‘I’d be a happy United fan, that’s for sure,’ Giggs told the South Morning China Post.

‘I think he’s a Man United player. I think the fans would love him. The fans would adore him but again, like I say, he’s at a club where he’s won three Champions Leagues so why would you leave?’
It is believed Bale is waiting to see if Eden Hazard arrives from Chelsea and Neymar signs from PSG before he decides whether to leave the club and sign for United.

But he will not be going for cheap as Madrid will demand close to £100 million for Bale, while he will command a wage close to the £500,000-a-week, as he is regarded as one of the best players on the planet.
