Lewandowski’s reps locked in talks with Man Utd with Ed Woodward ready to pounce on deal

Lewandowski’s reps locked in talks with Man Utd with Ed Woodward ready to pounce on deal
According to shock reports, Robert Lewandowski’s agent has offered the Bayern Munich striker to Premier League rivals Manchester United and Chelsea.

Poland superstar Lewandowski has been one of the most prolific strikers in the world over the past decade, scoring 151 goals in 195 games for Bayern.

Prior to his move to the Allianz Arena, where he has won four Bundesliga titles, Lewandowski netted over 100 goals in a four-year stint at Borussia Dortmund.

Amidst all these immense personal and collective success at Bayern Munich, the 29-year-old is being strongly linked with a move during the summer transfer window.

Lewandowski recently changed his agent, with Pini Zahavi – who has links with Chelsea – now representing the Polish striker.

Lewandowski has been strongly linked with a move to Spain before but Zinedine Zidane was said to be reluctant to bring him to the Bernabeu.

Now Zidane has left – he resigned in the week after Real Madrid won a third straight Champions League title – Lewandowski could be set to seal a move to the La Liga giants.

But Bild also report that the player’s agent has been in contact with Manchester United, Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain over a possible move.

Both United and Chelsea have expressed interest in Lewandowski in the past, although the Red Devils are unlikely to pursue his signature after signing Romelu Lukaku for £70m last summer.

Chelsea could be interested in striking a deal, however, particularly if Alvaro Morata leaves Stamford Bridge after a difficult debut season in the Premier League.
