Arsenal suffer massive blow as 21-year-old target set to remain at UCL giants

Arsenal will miss out on a summer deal to sign Ousmane Dembele this transfer market, with the player deciding he wants to stay at Barcelona.
According to the Spanish nationwide daily sports newspaper Mundo Deportivo, as quoted on Metro Sport, Dembele is refusing to give up on his Blaugrana career just yet.

There had been some talks that the France international could join Arsenal on loan with an option to buy before Thursday’s deadline.
The Gunners’ management were hoping to wager a €10 million loan sum with an added €90 million option to buy.

Malcom’s arrival from the Ligue 1 side Bordeaux had raised questions about where the one-time Borussia Dortmund winger would fit in at the Camp Nou.

However, after holding negotiations with club president Josep Maria Bartomeu, the pacy winger has decided to stay put and fight for his place in the starting eleven.

Spanish manager Unai Emery was believed to be interested in bringing in the French winger to add some much-needed creative flair the Gunners attack.

The last season, in all competitions, Frenchman made 24 appearances, scored 4 goals and provided 9 assists.
