Liverpool planning shock last-minute move for Bundesliga attacking midfielder

Liverpool set to consider a deadline day move for the Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund attacking midfielder, according to reports from the British media.
Reds boss Jürgen Klopp has already bolstered his squad in key areas this transfer market, splashing out close to £180 million on four new signings.

It could be argued that German still needs to add another attacker to his squad, however, if he is to guide his side to their first top-flight title since 1990.
The Reds sold Brazilian star Philippe Coutinho to Barcelona in January, and even though they have signed Xherdan Shaqiri this summer, there is still room for one more talented attack-minded player.

With this in mind, Liverpool considering to plot a deadline day move for Borussia Dortmund’s Mario Götze, who could be obtainable for just £18 million, according to Football.London.

The 26-year-old star has struggled with injuries in the latest years, but for that price, he is more than worth taking a gamble on.

Götze’s career peaked in the summer of 2014, when Mario scored Germany’s winning goal in the World Cup final versus Argentina, and at the time, German was considered to be world class.
