Hazard predicts England will make WC Final but lose to Belgium

Chelsea star Eden Hazard has sensationally claimed that England will reach the World Cup final in Russia this summer, although he also reckons that the Three Lions will ultimately meet defeat at the hands of his own Country Belgium.

If Hazard’s prediction does come true, it will of course mean that Belgium and England will face each other twice, as they have been drawn together in Group G along with Panama and Tunisia.

Premier League fans will be fascinated by the match up between the Red Devils and the Three Lions on 28 June in the Kaliningrad Stadium, with both sides featuring some of the biggest stars from English football’s top flight.

England boss Gareth Southgate has picked a talented but hugely inexperienced squad for this summer’s tournament, and with expectations among Three Lions fans at an all time low going into the showcase event, most England supporters would probably be delighted with a run to the final.

Hazard suffered an injury scare in Belgium’s final warm up game yesterday, a 4-1 victory over Costa Rica, although his manager Roberto Martinez confirmed afterwards it was only a dead leg and the mercurial playmaker was only substituted as a precaution.
