BREAKING: Train DESTROYS truck in horrifying collision in Poland – one dead, 27 injured

AT LEAST one person has died and and 27 others have been injured after a train collided with a lorry near Daleszewie, in north-west Poland

                   Police, firefighters and medical services have raced to the scene of the crash

The train smashed into vehicle the near the Polish town at around 1pm local time (12pm UK time), killing the lorry driver.

Police, firefighters and an air ambulance raced to the scene of the crash to help recover the victims, according to local media.

At least 10 people have been taken to a hospital in nearby Szczecin Zdroj, while nine were taken to a hospital in Zdunowo.

A group of children were on board the train at the time of the crash, according to the Korrespondent newspaper, but most were unharmed.
