Prolific attacker tells agent to complete Man United transfer

Prolific attacker tells agent to complete Man United transfer

Manchester United have received a shocker as French winger Anthony Martial has reportedly told the club he wants to leave. The player has struggled to cement a place in the starting line up under Mourinho and this cost him dearly last season as he missed out on France world cup squad.
The player who is entering his last year on his contract has rejected all efforts by the club to renew his contract.

Martial’s agent Philippe Lamboley informed reporters of his client’s decision recently, according to him the old Trafford outfit have been negotiating for a contract but talks are yet to yield any result.

He also took a swipe at the United chiefs insisting the club has dallied with the contract offer as he believes martial is not valued highly by Mourinho.  He however conceded that Manchester United hold all the aces in the player’s future as Martial still contracted to the club.
Martial has hit a crossroad in his career with the winger career having a downward spiral since the arrival of Mourinho. The French player scored 17 goals in all competitions in his first season with United but he has seen his stalk fall at the club, resulting to the World Cup snub under Mourinho’s tutelage.

The Portuguese coach has several times questioned the attitude of the player indicating he lacks the mentality to succeed in United. The player made just 18 appearances in the league for Manchester United last season.
