Chelsea set to battle it out with EPL rivals for Brazilian defender

Chelsea poised to battle their Premier League rivals Liverpool for the signature of Liga NOS giants Porto’s defender Alex Telles, the Daily Express reports.

In spite of winning the FA Cup, the Blues are facing a summer overhaul, with Italian coach Antonio Conte set to depart after a poor fifth-place finish in the Premier League.

Jurgen Klopp will also be interested in improving his squad as they hope to pose a serious threat for the Premier League title next year.

According to reports from Portuguese media, both Chelsea and Liverpool are on the hunt for a new left-back.
The Portuguese tabloid daily newspaper Correio Da Manha reports that both clubs have been monitoring Alex since the January transfer window.
