Liverpool fans on Twitter were very happy with Klopp’s response to this tough question

Yesterday, Jurgen Klopp face the media ahead of his side’s match at the Stadio San Paulo against Napoli tonight. He’ll be going head-to-head against Carlo Ancelotti and when one journalist asked how a manager’s relationship with his players changes over time, the Liverpool manager had the perfect response.

Klopp obviously didn’t want to risk being misquoted and take the attention off of his players as the Reds prepare for what will be a huge game in Group C of the Champions League. PSG will be facing Red Star Belgrade at home in the other group game and you can only assume that PSG will come away with all three points, making it imperative for Liverpool to overcome Napoli to stay in control of the group.

Napoli will be a tough test for Liverpool. The Italian has come up against The Reds eight times in the past, winning five and losing three of those meetings, however, one of those losses was that famous night in Istanbul back in 2005 and the Kopites will be hoping that Klopp can mastermind a victory over Ancelotti just as Rafa Benitez did all those years ago, although Liverpool will settle for a less dramatic win.
