PSG Set To Offer Chelsea Target A New Deal To Prevent The Blues From Signing Him

French giants Paris Saint-Germain are hopeful of tying down Chelsea transfer target Adrien Rabiot to a new deal to ward off interest in him aways from the Ligue 1 side, as claimed by L’Equipe.
The France international’s current contract at PSG expires at the end of this season, and not only him, full-back Thomas Meunier and goalkeeper Alphonso Areola are also in the last phase of their contract with the Ligue 1 champions, but PSG want to tie the trio down to new deals.

La Liga champions Barcelona have shown interest in Rabiot, and he will be free to discuss a pre-contractual agreement with a club away from France in January if he does not pen a new deal with PSG.
Although the French champions have found themselves in the threat of Financial Fair Play, but the club have indicated that Rabiot remains part of the future plans as they determined to tie down the special man in their squad for the immediate future.

Rabiot, 23, has played all PSG’s eight Ligue 1 matches this season, finding the back of the nest in their first game of the season against Caen, and played full 90 minutes as they were beaten by Liverpool at Anfield in the Champions League game.
