Fabinho reveals his plan to convince Mbappe to sign for Liverpool

New Liverpool signing Fabinho has revealed his plans to try and convince his former Monaco team-mate and PSG superstar Kylian Mbappe to move to Anfield.

Fabinho moved to Liverpool from Monaco in a £39 million deal at the start of the transfer window, and the 24-year-old midfielder has revealed that Mbappe contacted him to congratulate him on his move to the Premier League.

“Kylian Mbappe sent me a text message congratulating me for coming to Liverpool,” Fabinho is quoted by the Guardian.

“Unfortunately I have not had a chance to congratulate him for what he did during this World Cup.

“What France did was fantastic. What Mbappe did in two years of professional football is amazing.
He is a phenomenon and needs to be congratulated, and as soon as I have the chance I will.

“He has already said for this season he will remain at PSG, but I will try slowly to convince him to come over.”

Mbappe is the hottest property in World Football after his superb performances for World Cup winners France this summer, and although he has been linked with mega money moves to Real Madrid, Manchester United and Manchester City, he is thought to want to stay in his home town Paris  and try and win the Champions League with PSG.
