£40,000-a-week defender optimistic of sealing massive move to Man United

The Premier League side Leicester City defender Harry Maguire believes he’ll be a Manchester United player by the end of the transfer market.
The Red Devils have ramped up their reported interest in the defender in the last week after making little development in a move for Tottenham Hotspur defender Toby Alderweireld.

Maguire’s reputation skyrocketed throughout England’s World Cup campaign with the Englishman one of Gareth Southgate’s best performers in Russia.
Leicester City value Maguire at around £50 million and the Daily Mail state the defender is confident of completing a switch to Old Trafford before the Foxes play Manchester United at the Old Trafford on August 10th.

The Red Devils have signed three players thus far this summer with Fred, Lee Grant and Diogo Dalot arriving but Portuguese manager Jose Mourinho has confirmed he wants to land two more players.

Leicester City are notoriously hard negotiators and extracted a club record sum from Manchester City in order to allow Algerian star Riyad Mahrez to move to the Etihad Stadium.

However, Manchester United have raised an extra £14 million from the sale of Daley Blind to the Dutch side Ajax and can expect to make a similar amount when Italy international Matteo Darmian departs.
