Brazil international and Roma goalkeeper, Alisson Becker was in the news earlier.

As report stated that he was already at Meywood for his medical fitness check up.

However, recent update have revealed Alisson have finally put pen to paper as Liverpool’s new coach.

Liverpool has paid the sum of £66.9 million to AS Roma as Alisson’s transfer price.
Further report stated that the Brazil international had agreed to a five year deal.
The Reds have beaten Chelsea to the race of signing the goal keeper, who is set to be the highest paid goal keeper in the world.

This became possible after a series of persuasion by Brazil player, Roberto Firmino and phone discussions from Jurgen Klopp.

It seems Chelsea will now have to look elsewhere or stick to Courtois.

Going by past records, the previous highest paid goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon was paid €53m by Juventus in 2001.

Alisson joining the Reds will put Current goalkeeper, Karius out of use and may be likely be loan out to another club.
