Chelsea must “break the bank” in order to land International No.3 defender

Chelsea FC have been informed that they’ll have to shell out a massive £80m transfer fee if they want to land Kalidou Koulibaly from Napoli this transfer market, according to reports in the British media.
The Daily Mirror is reporting that the Italian giants have slapped a mammoth price-tag on the central defender, who has been connected with a move to Stamford Bridge for a while.

The west London club have already successfully prised both coach Maurizio Sarri and defensive midfielder Jorginho away from the Serie A club this summer, and they are reportedly also interested in defender Koulibaly.
According to the same story, Partenopei want a massive initial sum for Senegal international, plus add-ons which could take the total price for the 27-year-old star close to nine figures.

Chelsea FC are thought to be on the observation post for a number of new signings this transfer market as they look to bid and build a team capable of challenging for the EPL title next season.

The last term, in all competitions, Kalidou Koulibaly made 45 appearances, netted five goals and provided one assist.
