Man United ready to trigger £72m release clause of star midfielder

Jose Mourinho is a big spender in the transfer window but somehow, he has not be able to get some of his targets. The Portuguese manager signed two players this term but there were claims he wanted four.
United have started the season poorly and the future of some of the club’s players have been thrown in the air following a reported feud with Jose Mourinho.

And now, United are reported to be willing to meet the release clause of Atletico Madrid star and transfer prime target Saul Niguez.

Niguez started his career with the famous Real Madrid academy before joining Los Rojiblancos in 2010. He walked up the ladder of the Madrid based club and has established himself as a mega star midfielder.
The 23-year-old can play as a centre-back but he learnt his trade as a midfielder and has been used frequently in the middle of the pack.

Although United have signed on Fred but Pagba has been continuously linked with a move away from the fortress of Old Trafford. The Red Devils may sign Niguez as replacement for Pogba or to complement the efforts of the French midfielder.

Niguez has a £72million release clause but United will have to spend the excess of   £130million to lure the star. According to OK Diario, United are willing to meet the valuation of the player.

Manchester City have been linked with a move for the player with Paris Saint Germain also said to be lurking around for his signature.
