Almost done: South-American star on brink of sealing Man United transfer

Manchester United are still clouded with transfer speculations despite the close of the British transfer
window.  United defenders Matteo Darmian and Marcos Rojo have been reportedly told by head coach Jose Mourinho to decide on their future.

Marcos Rojo had been expected to leave Old Trafford this summer with a move to Everton put on hold due to the clubs inability to bring in defensive enforcements. Darmian was also a target for Juventus but surprisingly started in United opener against Leicester last Friday.

According to news from the Mirror Rojo is close to a move to Turkish outfit Fenerbache which would end his four-year stint at United. The Argentine defender has struggled with injury during his stay at Old Trafford despite emerging as one of Mourinho’s stalwarts in the defence.  Mourinho has enough cover in the Centre Back position and would be able to replace the 28-year-old.

Darmian case is slightly different as United face a right back crisis as club captain Antonio Valencia and new signing Diogo Dalot are currently sidelined due to injury.

Whatever the case maybe one thing fairly certain is that one of the players would leave United before the end of August.
