Zinedine Zidane desperate to become the next Manchester United manager

Zinedine Zidane is ready to cut short his holiday and return to club management should the Manchester United managerial position become available.

The French man left Real Madrid in May after guiding them to a record three consecutive Champions League crowns in just 3 seasons in charge.

He has been on holiday since he quit his role with the Spanish giants, however, reports in his native France claims that Zidane is ready to return to the managerial dugout and a move to the Premier League is his preferred option, with Old Trafford his favoured destination.

Jose Mourinho’s time at Old Trafford seems only a couple of months or even weeks away after a summer of falling out with the club’s board over transfer targets.

Mourinho did not get his main transfer targets and has been at loggerheads with the club’s hierarchy since the end of the transfer window. His relationship with Paul Pogba has also reached an all time low and it seem like one of them would have to leave soon.

Mourinho has famously always fallen for the ‘third season curse’ as he has been fired by his former teams in the third season, many experts are predicting that the ‘third season curse’ is about to strike again, and that could open the door for Zidane to come in.
