Arsenal still want to add Ajax playmaker Hakim Ziyech and Emery
planning to renew negotiations with the footballer in January. Gunners
have serious problems in front-line and a new high-class player is
necessary. During the summer Unai tried to sign him but the deal failed.
Hakim had a great seaosn in Eredivisie and also played in the World
Cup.
In this season Ziyech made 45 appearances, scored 11 goals and made
15 assists in all competition. This is an amazing consequence and he
will do much more with high-class teammates around. Liverpool also
interested to sign him and there will be a real battle during the winter
transfer window.
Morocco international joined the Dutch club from
Twente in 2015 with a €11m deal. He is contracted with Ajax until 2021
and his release clause is around €30m. The 25-year-old price could
increase as Reds are ready to pay big money for the player. Spanish
manager tried to add several high-class attackers in this summer like
Lucas Vazquez, Kingsley Coman, Ousmane Dembele but the deals failed.
Emry will do everything to improve the squad for the next campaign.
