Anthony Martial reveals why he was right to leave the Man United pre-season tour

Anthony Martial has justified his decision to leave Man United pre-season tour despite the heavy criticism he drew to himself.

Martial left the USA to be with his partner for the birth of his son named Swan – even though Jose Mourinho claimed he had fore knowledge of his departure, the Portuguese tactician was apparently angry with the French forward.

United traveled for their pre-season tour limited in the number of strikers they have following the participation of their players at the World Cup. Martial was a key figure in the Red Devil’s party that traveled. Alas, his body language means there is currently no love lost between him and Jose Mourinho.

Mourinho told pressmen that he does not know when Martial will return, while revealing that the player was wrong to travel.  “he should be here, and he is not here”
The French forward has broken silence on the issue, and he’s claimed his family will come first.
“Thanks for all your posts,” he wrote on Twitter.

“My little Swan is fine, for the mum it was harder but thank god she is better now.

“Sorry but my family will always come first… back tomorrow in Manchester.”

Martial has been a subject of transfer speculation since the start of the transfer window and he has been heavily linked with a move to Chelsea and Tottenham.

Rife reports have claimed that the French forward will be handed a £180,000 fine for not returning to US for their tour.
